Second painting in my Guernica series. I'm trying to use color & primary type of shapes to express each person's style of improv, and Alex is high-energy and direct.

My improv group, Guernica, opens next Friday (Voodoo Comedy Playhouse at 10pm, come check it out if you're near Denver!), so I'm painting Cubist portraits of all 5 of us. Plus, I get to have my art displayed at the theater! The best part about this, though, is getting to work on color and composition, two areas I need to focus on.
